Section 1d: Confidence \PYZhy{} Kitty would have two different relationship stats: \PYZti{} Self\PYZhy{}Esteem: Determines how comfortable she is in her role, and how happy or miserable she is in general. * At a higher number, she\PYZsq{}s less neurotic, more confident in herself, and more settled into her current role, whatever that may be. \PYZti{} Dominance: Her place on the Tigershark Pecking Order. * Can be Beta (her starting stage), Average, or Alpha (what all Tigersharks aspire to). * Whereas the expected outcomes would be a Low Self\PYZhy{}Esteem Beta or a High Self\PYZhy{}Esteem Alpha, with the right coaxing, Kitty could develop high Self\PYZhy{}Esteem, yet settle comfortably into life as a Beta, viewing it as her calling in life, or she could rise to Alpha status, but suffer from incredibly low Self\PYZhy{}Esteem, causing her to feel like she has to constantly be on the lookout for challenges to her dominance, and generally leaving her a high\PYZhy{}strung, paranoid mess. \PYZhy{} This is another mechanic that would borrow from a previous Tigershark interaction scene: * Being picked on by her siblings or defeated by those she picks fights with damage both her Self\PYZhy{}Esteem and her perceived Dominance, nudging her toward Beta. * Being teased by the Champion about the size of her penis would damage her Self\PYZhy{}Esteem, unless they took the loving option in the subsequent dialogue, which would restore it by a bit, while also nudging her toward Beta. \PYZti{} Conversely, if they encouraged her, or at the very least comforted her and told her it\PYZsq{}s not something she should be worrying about at her age, she would take a boost to her Self\PYZhy{}Esteem and be nudged toward Alpha. \PYZti{} Through situations like this, the Champion could help to guide how the Catshark views herself and her ultimate role in the family, while also changing how she interacts with the Champion herself. \PYZti{} Kitty could ultimately be taught by a sympathetic Champion that it\PYZsq{}s not the size of her tool that matters, but how she uses it, embracing her small size and making up for it with stamina and tenacity. \PYZti{} Alternatively, a less compassionate Champion could enforce her role as Beta and train her for that instead. \PYZhy{} Kitty could also be trained with a weapon and sparred with in order to help her work on her combat / self\PYZhy{}defense tactics, so that she can work further up the hierarchy. \PYZti{} Since Kitty is much smaller than her sisters, she lacks much in the way of raw brute strength, and instead relies on her speed, grace, and agility to attempt to get the upper hand, tiring out her rivals before moving in for the takedown. \PYZti{} Having Izma participate in training Kitty could even end up with her and the Champion jointly gifting Kitty with a pair of gloves with retractable claws, not only fitting for a Catshark, but also harkening back to Izma\PYZsq{}s own pair of hooked gauntlets. \PYZhy{} A more aloof Champion could encourage Izma to treat Kitty as her own personal Beta, letting her work out her sexual frustration on her daughter. \PYZhy{} After being trained, Kitty can help defend the camp (possibly giving her an opportunity to patch things up with Kid A if the Anemone is guarding as well, and they\PYZsq{}ve already had their little struggle for dominance). \PYZhy{} Also, if properly trained in combat, Kitty can stick up for herself, and wrest her dignity back from her former tormentors, possibly even turning the tables on them. \PYZhy{} However, if given the opportunity to go up against Kid A again, even possessing the skill to combat the Anemone on even terms, Kitty may not choose to take her revenge, but instead seemingly throw the fight, implying that she may not have disliked being dominated by her entirely as much as she initially seemed to...
