All eight of her eyes examine you, and you sense no hostility therein. Perhaps she has never seen an outsider in her young life. [monster.His] spider body is dark red and semi\PYZhy{}transparent, showing the flow of blood and constriction of joints as [monster.he] slowly circles you, looking for an opening. Where a spider\PYZsq{}s head would be, there are instead narrow human\PYZhy{}like hips, pale white, that flow up a youthful, undeveloped body. Despite [monster.his] obvious hostile posture, [monster.his] humanoid face is disconcertingly innocent, with all eight eyes examining you curiously. //STATS Agile compared to random swamp driders, but otherwise lower strength, toughness, and HP. Just a little armor. 50 corruption Relatively high lust resistance //Attacks /Bite. Armor\PYZhy{}piercing, but low damage melee. Injects venom only the first time it hits, they have no venom left after. The driderling menaces you by raising [monster.his] front legs, but you don\PYZsq{}t back away, prompting [monster.him] to leap forward with surprising speed. This effect stacks, medicine perk cures one venom at a time. This is the main source of damage driderlings do. /Bash. Low damage melee. Will not use if player is webbed (including by other monsters in battle) You wander slightly too close to the driderling, and [monster.he] lunges, swiping at your with one of [monster.his] legs. /Web. 5\PYZhy{}turn cooldown, slows the player, can use at range and melee. The driderling circles you, and then suddenly shifts its spinneret in your direction, spraying sticky silk. /TEASE. Only used if lust is 50+. Very low effect, but higher for every stack of venom from either driderlings or spiders. The driderling looks confused and flushed. [monster.His] normally translucent white skin is flushed pink, and [monster.he] pulls [monster.his] arms together anxiously, [if (driderling is female) \PYZob{}pressing her tiny, otherwise flat breasts inward, unconsciously emphasizing them to you|his small childish penis twitching and throbbing\PYZcb{}] as [monster.he] looks at you with desire. ///Red Widow Spider A red spider\PYZhy{}\PYZhy{}a [i:big] red spider\PYZhy{}\PYZhy{}creeps slowly in your direction. It may be nowhere near the size of a person, but it\PYZsq{}s at least as big as many house pets would be. Whenever you move closer to it, it raises its front legs and you can see the needle\PYZhy{}like fangs of its chelicerae. The dark chitin is spotted with yellow dots, the pattern possibly being a way to distinguish one of these red widows from another. //STATS Same as a driderling\PYZsq{}s, but all stats lower besides speed. //Attacks /Bite. Armor\PYZhy{}piercing, low\PYZhy{}damage melee. Injects venom up to 3 times. Will prioritize biting if player is webbed The red widow leaps astonishingly far and fast at you! [if (hit) \PYZob{}Its little body lands with unexpected weight and momentum for its size, but you resist stumbling and jerk frantically to throw it off. Unfortunately, it sinks its fangs in before you knock it away, stinging the affected area fiercely!\PYZcb{}] /Venom increases fatigue costs until cured, and deals *very* minor damage every turn. You wonder, for a moment, if there is no danger from such a young drider, but then [monster.he] climbs on your body and sinks [monster.his] fangs into you. Red widows crawl over from bushes and grass, and they all take turns biting and webbing you until you pass out. You come to, still alive and in one piece, but completely shrouded in silk. It is very hard to tell up from down, and you instinctively struggle against the bindings. The venom must be wearing off, because with every passing moment you feel better, and even recover your sense of orientation, realizing you must be upside down. Taking a calming breath, you ready yourself, and then tear through the cocoon! The fresh air rushes in, and you spend several minutes working your way out, and knocking around many relatively small red widows that were hanging around. Back on solid ground, you take stock of the situation. Nothing feels right. There\PYZsq{}s a pool of water nearby, and straining to see under the shadow of the webbed canopy, you try to examine your reflection. \PYZob{}random body part changed to red widow part, if not afflicted by Liddellium\PYZcb{} Skin (only if it is not pale, white, ashen): A sickly pale face looks back you. Your skin has become translucent white all over. Arms: As your hands touch the ground to steady yourself, you notice their dark red, chitinous covering. The chitin it thin, especially on your hands themselves, and the underside of your arm, but the topside is thick enough that you can hardly feel your digits tapping on it. It doesn\PYZsq{}t seem that strong, however, so it won\PYZsq{}t substitute armor. Eyes: It\PYZsq{}s not the darkness, your eyes are straining because\PYZhy{}\PYZhy{}because you have 8 of them now! You have two almost normal eyes flanked by smaller ones, then two small pairs on your forehead. Teeth: Taking a heavy, open\PYZhy{}mouth breath, you see your thin, needle\PYZhy{}like teeth. The shock has you hesitate in closing your maw once more, but after warily trying, you see that comfortably tucks itself away inside, as if nothing was amiss. /Merge You do seem otherwise healthy enough, but any more venom in your body could be dangerous. [b:It would be best if you got to safety and rested before risking something like this again.] The webs you were just stuck to begins to sway, and you hear skittering. It\PYZsq{}s time to get moving! ///Bad end == 2. Bad\PYZhy{}ended! WIP You can\PYZsq{}t feel your limbs. Everything seems heavy, and you feel like you have quicksand for [if (goo) \PYZob{}goo|blood\PYZcb{}], but you can feel that you\PYZsq{}re swaying just slightly. Hearing begins to return, and you notice the sounds of little skittering spiders crawling around on the silk that covers you. You\PYZsq{}re in a cocoon again! That\PYZsq{}s why it\PYZsq{}s so dark, you realize. There must be an unreal amount of venom in your body, and you\PYZsq{}ll need a lot more time to work it out of your system. A very large spider leg steps on your shoulder through the silk. You need to escape [i:now.] Wincing, you fail to move anything, and your head is foggy. [if (armor==Valeria) \PYZob{}The cocoon is getting wetter, and you hear a strained grunting\PYZhy{}\PYZhy{}Valeria! You forgot you\PYZsq{}re not alone! [say: I\PYZhy{}I can do it, I\PYZhy{}\PYZhy{}] but her words turn into a gasp as fangs pierce the silk where she was trying to tear. [say: I can\PYZsq{}t hold myself together...] she says amid groaning. Fluid begins running up your collar and face. You must be upside down, and Valeria is going to drown you unintentionally! The paralysis prevents you from resisting, and some her slime gets inhaled through your nose, provoking a painful coughing fit[if (isgoo) \PYZob{} as the venom\PYZhy{}filled gelatin is forced to mix toxicly with your own\PYZcb{}]. The silk around your head is torn away, and the slime rushes past you toward the swampy muck below. Jelly\PYZhy{}like mush sprays out your nose, your head aches, your eyes burn, but after your chest heaves against itself again, you eject the last of it. There\PYZsq{}s only blind hope that Valeria will recover from that, as you truly don\PYZsq{}t know. But that bite must have been meant for you\PYZhy{}\PYZhy{}will [i:you] survive it?
