Adding a school to the city. I may add more varieties later but for now this is the basic "normal" version of the school.

[School info. The school should be open from 8 to 18. I figure given the unusual species of the city that rather than being based on just age, classes would be sorted by perceived ability. With that in mind the intended classifications are.
1 basic, which would be where young children or their intellectual equivalent go
2 intermediary for teens and their equivalents
3 advanced for adults and others who know enough to understand higher level fields of study.]

[Learning about the school. One time event in the city between 6-8 or 18-20.]

As you are walking around the city, you are nearly trampled by a sudden rush of people. In the rush of movement, you see that it's mostly kids and teenagers being loosely guided by a few adults. You overhear something about a school and its general location. This pack of youths must be headed to, or from school for the day, assuming it works here like it did back home. In any case, just as quickly as it appeared, the crowd is gone. Leaving you alone and wondering if it might be worth seeing this school for yourself.

[Addition to the usual town description: There is also a school that you could visit if you are looking to learn, or teach.]

[First time visiting]

After taking some time to look around, and asking a few people for directions, you are pointed to a two story building towards the center of the city. As you approach the school, it's immediately clear that it has weathered years of neglect and minimal maintenance, but still stands proudly as a beacon of learning. The outer walls are made of mismatched stones, patched in places with wooden planks, rocks, and non structural fillers. The yard around the building is in rough shape as well. While there has clearly been an effort to keep life growing, it is a losing battle, with much of the yard now being dead or dying grasses and wilting flowers.

Once you have taken in the view, you make your way towards the entrance and easily push the old wooden doors open to step inside. Despite its outside appearance, the inside of the building is organized and abuzz with activity. You appear to be in some kind of greeting room with chairs to the sides of it and a desk towards the back of the room, seeming to act as a breakpoint between two different hallways. The muffled giggling and arguing of children and teachers going about their days fills your ears as you take in the environment, before a new, much clearer voice breaks through to you.

"A new face. Are you interested in attending a class?" You look over to the source of the voice and see a blue scaled snake woman uncoiling from behind the desk. She looks like the Nagas you have seen out in the desert, although with some notable differences. Aside from speaking clearly, and not being immediately hostile, she is clothed, somewhat. A plain white shirt stretches across her chest, her large breasts barely contained beneath the thin fabric. Where the shirt ends a black skirt begins, covering the rest of her belly and her groin. She brushes her light brown hair away from her glasses before speaking again. "You must be new around here. I am Llian, and this is... well we are still trying to decide on a new name after the reopening, but that's beside the point. This is a school. A place of learning, at least in theory." You explain that you are familiar with the concept, just not this school and any of its peculiarities.

"Of course. I didn't mean to insult your intelligence. I just never know what anyone actually knows when they come in. So, the crash course. We have basic classes which are free for anyone to attend. These are intended for people who don't really know... anything. Things like reading, writing, beginner math like addition and subtraction. Those classes are mostly for children or people from the wilds who have never seen a book before. No offence." It's hard to tell if she is trying to insult you or not with these comments. Still, everyone does have to start somewhere. Even if you are a genius, it doesn't hurt to brush up on the basics.

"Then there are the intermediary classes. This is where you can learn things like advanced math, literature, and history. You know, things you might want to know but not necessarily need in your daily life. These lessons you have to pay for, which can be done on a class by class basis or by officially enrolling with one big payment. Most of the current students in that bracket are teens sent here by their parents. It really seems like most of them don't even want to learn, but hey, not my problem."

She takes a moment to ensure you still understand what she is saying, or are at least pretending to pay attention to her before resuming. "Lastly are the advanced classes. Those classes are where actual intellectualism can be found: high arts, the sciences, engineering, architecture, the specialized fields that you can turn into a lifelong career. Oh, and we are looking for new teachers. If you want to earn some extra money, or just fill in as a guest, do just let me know. I'll make sure you are suited to the task and are properly compensated for it."

Well, that was a lot of words. You take a moment to recap all the things she just told you. Basic classes are free, you can get paid if you are suited to teach, and it's separated into three class types, rather than age groups. "Yes. With there being so many different species with different lifespans, we had to shift entirely to a case by case basis for who is allowed into what class. You don't want eight year old goblins with eight year old humans. It gets weird, fast. Oh, that reminds me. We expect everyone to have enough sense to not do anything too extreme, but given the biological needs of the different species we have, you may see some unusual behavior. I won't go too deep into details. It's really up to you how you want to handle it if anything happens. Anyway I should be getting back to my paperwork. Just let me know if you need anything." With a wave of her hand she dismisses you.

[Interior description of the school for after the previous scene, and repeat visits.]

The inside of the school is much like the outside, worn but functional. The first floor is divided into two hallways separated by the greeting area that you came in through. The basic classes are in the left hall, and the intermediate are to the right. The advanced classes take up the entire second floor. The staircase leading to it is behind Llian's desk.

[Initial options.]

Attend a basic class. tooltip= Head to the basic classrooms for a lesson. [is free, small intelligence increase up to a max of 30]

Teach a basic class. [Requires an intelligence of 30, pays 5 gems.] tooltip= You are smart enough to teach kids the basics, if they actually pay attention. Either way you get paid 5 gems for an hour of work.

Attend an intermediary class. tooltip= Head to the intermediary classrooms for a lesson. [Costs 10 gems unless you are enrolled. moderate intelligence increase up to a max of 60.]

Teach an intermediary class. [Requires an intelligence of 40, pays 10 gems.]tooltip= You have enough experience to impart some wisdom onto the intermediate students, or can at least pretend you do. Either way you get 10 gems for an hour of teaching.

Attend an advanced class. tooltip= Go upstairs and get ready for intellectual stimulation. [50 gems a lesson unless you are enrolled. Moderate intelligence gains up to character max.]

Teach an advanced class. [Requires an intelligence of 60, pays 50 gems.] tooltip= You are practically a master scholar, surely the cream of the crop here would benefit from your tutelage. The pay of 50 gems is also a nice incentive.

Enroll. tooltip= pay the fee to officially join the school and no longer have to pay every time. [Should probably cost around 1000 or so gems.]

Llian. tooltip= Talk to snake with the big boobs.

[Attend basic class.]

You inform Llian that you are going to attend a basic class. She marks this down in her paperwork and gestures for you to proceed. [If this is the first time: (You make your way down the left hallway and take a look around. Most of the rooms have their doors shuts, and are marked as full or otherwise not taking students. The door towards the end of the hall is open and so you walk over, and take a look. Inside you see a brown furred mouse woman sitting at a large desk at the front of the room. Further in is a row of desks, and then an open space with a few boxes of what look to be blocks, and other such children's toys.

It takes the woman a bit of time to realize you are standing there, but she does greet you eventually. "Oh hello, you must be a new student. Come on in, I am Avril" As she stands up to greet you, her shirt snags on the corner of her desk. With one movement the buttons that held her top shut burst and expose her breasts to you, and the other students. Her pink nipples quickly become hard in the open air. She seems absolutely oblivious to this fact as she continues speaking to you. "I'm the teacher for this room, or at least I try to teach. I uhh, it's hard to keep track of everything."

It's hard to take your eyes off of her chest, but you manage to look her in the face and introduce yourself. "Welcome to the class. So the green one over there is Grizza." She points to a goblin in one of the seats. "That's uhh, Red?" She says gesturing towards what looks to be a little demon girl with red skin and nubby horns. You are unsure if that's actually her name or if the teacher is just making shit up. "And the last one of note is Tusk, at least I think that's his name. He doesn't talk much." The student she points to this time is a minotaur. He gives a wave but doesn't do much else. Those aren't the only students here, but Avril doesn't point out any more of them.

"Anyway, please take a seat." She points to one of the desks, her breasts jiggling as she does so. A giggling from the other students draws her attention as you make your way to your seat. It takes the mouse woman a moment to realize what the others find so funny. After a bit of that you simply point out that she ruined her top. Avril then looks down, inspects herself, and nods in agreement. "Oh, I did. Darn it." Rather than leaving the room or attempting to fix the damage, she just pulls the clothing vaguely back into place. If this is the caliber of the educators here it's a wonder anyone can read.) If not the first time. (You head to class and take your seat.)]Basic classes are loosely structured, you can do pretty much whatever you want now that you are here. So the question is, what do you actually want to do?

Focus on the lesson. tooltip= You are here to learn, at least this time.

Focus on Avril. [Requires sufficient lust or corruption.] tooltip= Avril's chest is on display most of the time, but you're pretty sure she doesn't wear panties under that skirt. You doubt she would notice, or care, if you were to get a closer look, and maybe more.

Spend time with Grizza. tooltip= Spend class with the Goblin.

Spend time with Red. tooltip= Spend class with the demon girl.

Spend time with Tusk. tooltip= Spend class with the minotaur.

[focusing on the lesson. Each of these is a different variant, but results in the intelligence gain regardless.]

You try your best to pay attention to Avril and what she is actually trying to teach. This lesson is about reading and writing. First she explains that, in this part of the world, words are composed of individual letters. Each letter has a sound associated with it, and by putting them together you form the whole word. She draws a few of the letters on the board and tells everyone what sounds they actually make. As she does her skirt sways from side to side. You can get a good look at her cheeks, but can't quite make out anything more juicy than that. Once she has written down the entire alphabet Avril spends the majority of the class with the other students helping them sound out words, and before you know it the class is over.

This lesson is about basic math. First she explains that numbers, represent different amounts of things. She turns towards the chalk board and draws a few of them, bending over way further than necessary as she does, letting you and the rest of the class get a good look at her cheeks. They have a very nice heart shape to them, and get just a hint of the fleshy pink of her pussy, before she straightens back up. Next she explains that you can put the numbers together to get a new number, or subtract them from each other. She goes around the class helping the students practice, and before you know it class is over.
