They are stealthy and effective at slipping into places but sometimes their heists aren't well thought out. They can be bartered with but know that people are going to try to swindle them unfairly but usually fall for reverse psychology. They are territorial but fear having to defend their territory, so they resort to setting traps and making their dwellings hard to find. These habits make kobold groups spread out with less focus on a community. Kobolds do experience love and make pairs. They lack a concept of monogamy but do experience jealousy if not given enough attention. Kobolds view nudity as normal but enjoy wearing clothes or accessories that they like the look of, some might be completely nude, some wearing nothing but jewelry or trophies, some a colorful scarf, hat, or a dress, etc. Kobold fashion is mainly expression and vanity over any modesty or practicality. They might wear lingerie, kinky accessories, or fetish wear without knowing its significance.\r\n\r\nSociety: Kobolds mainly socialize when venturing out of their dwellings while hunting, heisting, foraging, and exploring in groups. They frequently bicker over shares and resolve disputes with games. Kobold games are usually invented on the spot but sometimes reused. The rules and objectives are subjective by design, and usually won by whoever is better at cheating or rule interpretation.\r\n\r\nLife cycle: Kobolds lay clutches of eggs (1-6) and have naturally short and easy pregnancies, usually taking 2 weeks to lay and another two weeks to hatch. Their fast reproduction mitigates the myriad of stupid ways they get themselves killed and their shorter lifespans. A hatchling develops into a toddler at a week, child at two weeks, adolescence at five weeks, pubescence at eight weeks, adulthood at a year, and elderly by thirty years. Kobolds die of natural causes by the age of fifty, though their life expectancy is much lower due to their avarice, antics, and oversights. When it comes to procreation there is little emotional aspect to it, instead mates are chosen on pragmatic basis of health and competence. It wouldn't be strange if the parents of a kobold were mere acquaintances and were in separate relationships the whole time. Pairs that love each other have no qualms breeding, but such pregnancies are usually incidental rather than the result of trying to procreate.\r\n\r\nParenting: Mothers raise their children alone for a month, after which it is the sire's responsibility to educate them and make them independent, the task is a matter of pride as evidence of knowledge and skill worth passing on. A kobold acting as a father to a kobold he did not sire is seen as a severe insult to the actual sire's knowledge and worth by comparison. Kobold fathers will brag to no end about accomplishments of a kobold they raised, where as they might omit they ever even raised a child if that child accomplished very little. Kobold mothers take great pride in the number of healthy and beautiful children they have made, viewing it as evidence of her own beauty, health, and fertility. Kobolds do not have strong familial bonds like mammals but are affectionate and more helpful to relatives. \r\n\r\nSexuality: Sex is casual thing for kobolds and they place no significant meaning on it. Kobolds might offer or request sex for favors or when bartering. Kobolds do not have any taboo on incest but instinctively avoid it. The same is true for pedophilia but in both cases there are obviously rare exceptions. Kobolds are naturally bisexual due to the similarity of genders. Kobolds with larger horns or more vibrant colors are seen as more desirable and attractive. It is uncommon but there are females with larger horns or particularly colorful males on occasion, making the concept of having hard gender preferences uncommon in kobolds. The more deciding factor in their sexual preferences is finding someone compatibly dominant or submissive depending on their own temperament.\r\n\r\nSetting specific: Much like the kangaroo-morphs kobolds have largely remained hidden from the demons and due to their spread out and isolating habits, even corrupted kobolds have difficulty finding or revealing others. Of course plenty of individual kobolds wind up in the clutches of demons and other corrupt creatures.
